Getting started with CrossFit Fornix is easy. You don’t need to be ‘fit’ or have any prior training experience. CrossFit is for all ages, fitness levels and abilities. All you need to do to start with CrossFit Fornix is to CONTACT US to arrange a FUNDAMENTALS SESSION.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
CrossFit Fornix is a custom designed facility that addresses the physical needs of the individual within group CrossFit sessions. Your basic physical needs and the basic physical needs of the worlds most elite athletes, special operators, business people, mums, dads, grandparents, butchers, bakers and candlestick makers are all the same: Move well, pain and injury free throughout your environment everyday.
At CrossFit Fornix we specialise in small group classes led by our highly qualified and experienced COACHES, allowing us to provide you with high quality coaching focusing on the promotion of proper technique across all types of movement. Our coaches care about you as a person and about how you move inside of the gym so you can use your fitness without restriction outside the gym in your everyday life. We are not interested in how much weight you lift or how fast your time is if you move like you are driving at 100km/h with a flat tyre. We care about what you do in here so you live well out there.
CrossFit workouts may seem random and this is a good thing! The future is both unknown and unknowable and really, this is what we train for. As much as we all like to make big elaborate plans, we never really do know what life will ask of us and this is what our program strives to prepare you for. At CrossFit Fornix our programming is carefully developed, delivered and evaluated in-house to meet the specific needs of our population. Rarely will you do the same workout twice unless we are testing and re-testing you to see how you have progressed, just like science!
Although we primarily address the body’s physical needs, we at CrossFit Fornix care about you as an entire person and appreciate the fact that there is so much more to you than your physical being. And so, our view of health is holistic resulting in our program being delivered with attention paid to your happiness and well-being by encompassing your physical, nutritional and mental dimensions. By doing so our community supports one another to be the best version of ourselves we can possibly be.
